Volunteers play a valuable role at A Touch of Grace Hospice. Volunteer service is rewarding to patients, families and the volunteers themselves. Volunteers dedicate their time and efforts, helping us serve our patients and families, and we need you as a volunteer; we need your kindness, patience, presence and support.
Volunteering at A Touch of Grace Hospice offers you the chance to make a difference in the life of someone else as a:
Direct Patient Volunteer
- Sitting with a patient and listening to his or her concerns
- Reading, playing games, listening to music
- Being available, so a family caregiver can have a short break
- Running errands for a patient
Office Volunteer
- Making phone calls to patients and families
- Providing support in the office
